Can any of you point me to a picture of your Bonnie with the Renntec Rail, Rack and Pack installed? And give me your opinions of how well you like them. Ease of use, etc.

I'm still struggling with trying to avoid using either of my tank bags very often, even tho I did order the TankSlapper kit. But I need a small pack to carry paperwork, etc. to and from work.

With the Renntec system I wouldn't have to try to carry both my throw-over saddlebags and then attach a seat pack over that. The saddlebags are small and filled with rain gear and tools already and I move them from bike to bike depending on what I'm riding that day. I want to keep that flexibility.

Thanks,
Monte

If you want to actually see the rack in that pic, use this link.

Thanks, guys. That is exactly what I wanted to see. I'll try to PM him and get his opinion about how he likes the setup.

Monte,

Here's another pic ... great piece of kit, both the wife and I use them all the time on both bikes, extended (unzipped), it takes a full face helmet easily. the design of the tail pack has changed slightly though with regard to the fixings and the pack does not sit centrally on the rack with the new fixing method. It is a minor irritation though.

I also have the Renntec rack and bag. They work great for me. The rack was a small challenge to put on as I recall because the bolt holes were only mostly aligned. It's on there now though and I have no plans to remove it. :hammer:

Hi, I decided to order the Renntec kit from New Bonneville, plus some hand turn seat bolts (I had them on the Tbird and liked them) and a K&N oil filter for my 500 mile oil change a little later in the Spring. I have dealt with New Bonneville before and like the way they do business.

When the Renntec system gets here and I get it on I will post a couple of pics. I did get an email from Bhakti-rider who told me that his system was a Venture system. They look pretty similar, but I like the soft pack that is designed for the Renntec rack better, so I decided that I would get the Renntec system.

Thanks again for your help.
