Al has a good solution. For years I've used an anti vibration spray when I install new pads. I misplaced the stuff the last time I replaced pads on the W650 and put the pads in without using it. What a screamer! I immediately stopped by NAPA for a can of the stuff, went home, and did the job right.
As Al says, use sparingly, and I'll emphasize ..... on the backing plate, not on the brake lining. I know, I know, but if you don't say it .................................................. ......
