I need feedback from you guys regarding the best way to get my bonnieblack from point A to point B. Point A is Port St. Lucie, FL and Point B is Seattle, WA. I'll be moving sometime in April of this year. I've considered riding it across the country, but my wife objects and time may not allow me to do so. Cost is a consideration. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, coffeeman.

I live in Edmonds. I'll be glad to ride it back up here for you, at no cost.

I did that with my '63 Norton when I moved from Ohio to California in '69 and also with my T100 when I moved back to Ohio last year. Both times the bikes came through perfectly (both movers were North American Van Lines) but it was traumatic to see that stuff pile up around the T100.

When I have to embarass my bike by hauling her somewhere not under her own power, I put her in the back of my pickup....Lots of room around her for putting other stuff, might be worth renting a pickup for the drive, UHaul or something, if yu don't have one. Either that or a small trailer. Of course, you could also ship her by a motorcycle freight place, I think it should run you around 600-700 dollars.....

Welcome to the rain belt, by the way! Its a well kept secret up here, wouldn't live anywhere else! See you on the road, man....

Thanks for all the replies, fellows. Copper, I'm the dude who e-mailed you a while ago asking for info about your neck of the woods. I'm anxious to get up there. Talked to my brother (who lives in Sammamish) this morning and he said it was 12 degrees F when he woke up.......but SUNNY! Florida is nice this time of year, but the hot, humid summers eat me up and make it hard to work (outside) and ride my bikes (both motor and leg powered). Thanks again. Kirk

Hey Coffeeman, we'll have to go for a ride when you get up to Seattle. It was cold and sunny today but I went for a ride anyway. Longjohns, 2 shirts, a vest, wool socks, and my leathers, it was a beautiful ride and the air was crisp and clean. Good luck on your move.
