Finally stepped up to the plate and bought a 2001 Bonneville.
Comes with TORS, Corbin, Triumph bike cover, plus some kit.
2500 miles. Less than $4k. Bike looks very clean in the photos, I gotta go pick it up in Lousianana (northern,

The PO has health issues, and could not ride it after purchase. Did I do good?

I'm not trying to rain on your parade here, it sounds like you got a good deal, but beware of any vehicles out of Louisiana now, the market is being glutted with water damaged vehicles from Katrina, there was a report about this on CNN about two weeks ago. I would check the title very carefully and research the history of it to make sure it didn't recently reside in southern Louisiana.

I have to echo that warning. Some Katrina vehicles showed up in Canada a few months ago if you can imagine that!
I would eyeball it closely in person before I wrote the cheque. Otherwise, if the bike turns out to be OK, then you got yourself a good deal.

Thanks for the katrina warning. I specifically asked the man about that and he claims northern La didn't get flooded. At any rate, I'll be out only a 300 dollar deposit if the bike turns out to be junk. I hope it'll be alright
