I found this picture of Elzee in the member albums. I was wondering where can you get this kind of helmet? I have seen this exact helmet on the cover of last months Motorcycle classics magazine except it was red.

Most half helmets you see make you look like a mushroom head and have the ugly three snap visor. I really don't like that look.

I typically wear a full face, but on really hot days, I think this would be great and I like the Cafe look.

Any info will help. I can find it anywhere.
Picture is not working, (right click, View image, Then you can see it.)

The reason for the NON mushroom head look is that it's got no real padding to speak of. If you don't mind having very little protection and are just tying to meet a helmet law requirment, you can probably find tons of helmets like those at harley or custom shops. But they are basically a shell without foam protection. Most people who buy them only weara helmet because of a helmet law where they are and would wear nothing if it weren't for that. But i think if you consider what you're losing just for a look you might change your mind. Just so you know...

IMO the full face helmet is not really as hot as one might think. The summers around here are usually 90 degrees plus and while hotter while standing still, one you get up and going it is not that uncomfortable. I hesitated and bought a flip up but I rarely use it except to get it on or off. My next helmet will be a full face without the flip up since they are quieter. I also think the the flow thru jackets are not much hotter. I actually think that both being light color has a significant effect on keeping you cool. I guess I believe in substance over form.

They're pricey, but as far as helmets go Arai are by far the most comfortable helmets I've tried. They have a couple different shaped models for different head shapes. But most of their stuff is full face.

those old school davida helmets are badass looking though.

Those Davida helmets are pretty sharp!
Bottom line though, you gotta protect your bean.

I kinda like the looks of that full face crafty helmet at the top of my screen--well maybe it just looks good because of where it's sitting. :-D ...rest of reply deleted due to content...
