I use the mobil 1 V twin which is 20/50 i think. in any case i think it's good stuff after a lot of research. It meets all triumph's requirments and i think it's probably the same oil as the triumph branded mobil 1 product, and you can find it at most auto chains. Kind of expensive at about 7 bucks, but what the heck.....unless you ride a heck of a lot it's not bad. The general consensus is that you shouldn't use a lot of the auto oils because many have extended milage additives that are said to cause clutch slippage in wet clutches.

I use the Mobil 1 V-Twin Oil 20w-50, available from my local Autozone. NAPA Gold oil filter, #1358. The PureOne filter is also good, I just found they are available at Advance Auto. (#PL14612)

Thanks for the Mobil link Redmaster, It is a quick read and informative. Good info.

I can throw an oil company farther than I can trust one on many issues but I think I will stick to the Motorcycle oil for now.

It does hurt the sensibilities to pay that much a quart.

this winter i use rotella t synthetic 5/40 and the supertech filter walmart has. total oil change about 15 bucks. but...

come spring, back to mobil v twin syn and pure one filter.

engine is quieter with mobil 1 v twin. cheapest place i found mobil 1 v twin is at walmart, about $7.43 or so.
