Other Motorcycle: What!?!?
needed new bolts but easy & cheap to find.

I have teh hepco becker rack. The Ricor shock mounts are ~11mm wider than stock IIRC.

'08 Scrambler. Arrow 2-1, ARK, AI gone, thrux needles, 150/40.

I'd forgotten about the rack - my Renntec became an artistic sculpture in the garage after I fit the Ricors. It still fit with the Hagons, btw.

OK, that extra width might not seem like a big deal but it's giving me second thoughts about Ricors.

They seem to be a great match with the Intiminators (I used the stock springs) up front. The Ohlins may be overkill, not sure, and as mentioned, just about anything else back there is an improvement. I do know this....very, very happy with them.
Are the Ohlins the same width as the stock shocks?

Well that happened quicker than I thought it would... Just ordered a pair of Ohlins 36D shocks from Cogent Dynamics.

Yeah...

If the stock suspension didn't put a dent in my ass, I wouldn't have had to do this...
