There is nothing like TT races and flat track racing in the dirt. Big twins, side by side and sideways through the turns. You guys are gonna have a great time. And the beer is going to be the best you have ever had. I hope this really catches on up there for ya. LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL.

Sharpshooter, when they say TT they mean as in Tourist Tophy. It's a road race like Isle of Man type. Mucho different.
For those interested, there aren't a lot of rooms for a big event like this up there. MEME (Maine European Motorcycle Enthusiasts) have pretty much booked the Day's Inn in Sydney. We figured even if the races aren't that good we're still going to have a good party :chug:
Some of us will be leaving Maine the Tuesday before race weekend and taking a couple days to get there. It's still winter and we are stoked to go.

BTW, www.eurobikemaine.org is our place.Come over to the Eurobike meet in July

Living on the left coast I won't be making it to the race. If only the Speed Channel would cover it...naw, won't happen. We'll see 12 hours of car auctions and hot rod building instead. Too bad, the TT should be good.

Isn't the climate going to be a tad inclement in Nova Scotia by September?

Not so. Some of the best weather of the year in Nova Scotia is in September. It's called Indian Summer - no offence to any Indians.
That's when I tour the Cabot Trail, the Fundy Trail and various other trails. The heat of the summer is past, but it's still plenty warm and only a leather jacket is needed. The tourists have left for the most part and the roads are quite empty.
By 30 September there is a chill in the air and it's hurricane season, but otherwise the weather is really quite decent.
We never used to worry about hurricanes or the tail end of hurricanse coming up the east coast, but since Hurricane Juan kicked the hell out of us two years ago we have become interested hurricane watchers.

This is GREAT news!!! Worth a long ride and a small tent, that's for sure. Keep us posted on dates, ok?
