Just got back from Cascade Moto Clasics in Beaverton Oregon.
What great people. I ordered the very first brand new road bike that I have ever had. 2oo6 tang and opal t-100. She will be mine in march, I still can't believe it. I am 54 years old and I feel like a little kid.
This dealership is so great that they will come out and pick up your bike for free within a 50 mile radius for any warranty work and return it to you. They will also do the same thing for new tires and some accessorys. This is a load off my mind for the traffic in Beaverton is horrible. Plus the fact that I have been shifting with the right foot for the last 30 years or so and this is going to take some getting used to. Ow ya and they are going to deliver it also.
They fired up a t-100 in the shop for me that had toga's on it and I just melted. Thats for me!
SO...... They are putting Toga's on, reworking the air box, removing the AI, putting it on a dyno and rejetting before I even take delivery. I just want to RIDE,RIDE RIDE.
DID I MENTION THAT I AM EXCITED ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rick...............................

I'm green with envy! I pressed my nose against my local dealer's window tonight after hours and saw that they finally got in the Jet / Tornado flavor I've been coveting.
It had a chrome chain guard and side covers on it - I guess I wouldn't mind having those extras, but if they're going to jack up the price with options, I'm afraid I'll have to pass. :???: I've made a meticulous list of what I plan to add to my future bike, and those item's didn't make the first cut.
Congratulations, Shooter!

Hope to meet you rodburner. I have learned alot from your posts and from alot of the other fine folks on this forum. I plan on doing some rides this summer near Mt. Rainier which is near your neck of the woods.

Nothing like walking out and seeing a small collection of Triumphs in the garage. Well it "will" be a nice sight... eh! Rick.
