As far as plug and play goes, this makes hooking up aftermarket lights and signals a lot easier. No cutting of your stock wires. http://www.newbonneville.com/html/wiring_harness.html

Obviously not, but what I did was to pick up a used fender off ebay when I wanted to bob mine. I still have the original stock fender if I ever decide to go back.......but that's more than likely not going to happen.

To see the lamp/adapter go to http://maundspeed.blogspot.com
He also sells some really nice shock mount brackets for the signals, although I did not use them,I made my own. He sells on EBay,his ID is CanyonRacer. The harness you can get from NewBonnieville as was mentioned in a previous post. As far as brightness of the new lamp, it appears relatively the same to my eyes. The nice thing about this lamp is that you can return your bike to stock if you wish, although once you see the new lamp in place you won't want to.

Is it possible to attach the turn signals to the light? I have a Scrambler and I can't/don't want them on the shock mounts.

Yes, it's possible. You'll have to drill holes in the sides of the tail light body to bolt the signals on. It'll be a very tight fit to get the extra wiring and signal shafts along with the tail light wiring inside, but it can be done. You can also fab a bracket out of flat steel bar to mount underneath the seat on the back of the rear sub-frame or to the license plate mounting holes. There are already some threaded holes located underneath the seat on the frame for the mounting of accessories. But if you don't want to deal with the process involved in DIY options, the only other option is bite the bullet and pay what the vendors are asking for their plug and play items.

Do a search for this thread by kreemsicleT100:Lucas tail light + signal relocate DIY. He does a nice write up on mounting a tail lamp and his signal relocate is slick .It would probably work for you. Hope it helps.

I've been waiting since November for my plug and play light kit from Newbonneville, still nothing.

Finally got my MaundSpeed tail lamp mounted. Made up a new rear lamp harness (thanks Thruxo!)because I didn't want to hack the factory harness.Made my own signal brackets to mount to the inside of the shock mounts. I wanted them a little more tucked in for two up riding. I bought K&S rectangular lamps from Dennis Kirk, seem to be nicely made. Think it turned out well.
