Twin bikes weakest link?

What would you say is any of the Triumph Twins weakest link? What would you want changed that might not be so easily modifiable?
I think that My '09 Thruxtons weakest link would have to be the weight.

Suspension...some are fine with it as is, and I respect that, but road surfaces around these parts dictated change. I suppose it was easy (I did the work myself), but perhaps not so much on the wallet.

I know what you mean, I live in northern Michigan and the winters/snow plows destroy the roads around here.

Fellow Michigan person!

I bought the Bonnie when I lived in So Cal...was fine with it out there. Here? Grew weary very quickly of that feeling I was going to get bucked over the bars.

Stock seat, suspension and lack of a decent exhaust note.

Go Blue! haha, it sucks that April/May is when it starts to warm up enough to do anything enjoyable outside.
The bike isn't something that should perform like a sportbike but there is always that little something that is desirable.
