I think the biggest drawback is all the attention you get, all the comments like, "Wow, I didn't know they still made those, that looks so cool/awesome/etc. Really delays you getting out of the gas station sometimes.

haha, Damn your far up there, do you ride during the winter? I'm thinking about getting a Tiger explorer sometime for the winter and have that as a year round bike and the Thruxton as a summer only bike.

I'm in South West michigan during the school year and summer doing internships. to bad we weren't all closer so we could plan a group ride.
