Happy New Year to me!!

I finally did it after 15 months of saving, i got a great deal on a 2010 Bonnie. Even comes with bar end mirrors and locking petrol cap. Pick it up in a couple of weeks, i can't stop smiling

Now to keep saving for the mods

A word of advice on the mods: follow the threads here for great advice. Bike mods are like legal heroin, no matter how many times you do it, it's never goona be enough. enjoy the insanity, groove on the cool factor that the Bonneville lets you do so many little things to make it more yours than others.

I got the base model 2010 only 4700kms at a bargain €6500 including the bar end mirrors and locking petrol cap, so it's practically new!! They're gona service it and replace the battery and give it a good clean as it's a little bit dirty as u can see in the pic.
They're also doing the whole registering, name change and taxing which costs around €200 to do it myself and also saves me a whole load of hassle too with my limited spanish and having to run all over the place doing it. Oh n got them to throw in a free disc lock.

Any other bikes i've seen being sold privately only start at this price with no extras and it's rare to find one as cheap to be honest. Most are around the €7000+ range. It seems the private market is more expensive than buying through a dealership, i also have one years warranty on it too.

I've been educating myself for the past few months on here about all the mods. I don't intend to go too crazy and just keep it quite minimalistic, famous last words lol want to order some plasti dip and sort those wheels out asap! New exhaust, probably TEC 2 into 2, FEK and maybe renthal low bars, (though dont know how they'll look with the mirrors but defo lower bars) fork gaitors, maybe headlight stone guard blacked out of course and black out a few other bits and pieces, then i'll see how it looks not gona mess with the engine but will do the marble in the air intake tube thingy, i know very technical description haha i have to say i'm rather excited and can't wait to get cracking on all that over the next few months. I'll defo be taking some photos and sharing it on here.
