I'm looking to get a pair of ikon 7614's in thruxton length for my bonneville.... Anybody have a lead on who might have the best price?

Try Dave at Ikon USA, that's where I got mine. He will make sure your get the correct spring for your weight and not just an off the shelf model.

Can confirm Dave's a nice guy, and while you might save $25- somewhere else, if he hasn't got the exact item in stock, he gets shipments from Australia roughly every two weeks.

When I got mine 2 1/2 years ago, none were in the country, but Dave called Ikon and had a set built for me and added to a shipment leaving the next day. Sheer luck, but took ~ 8 - 9 days total and Dave absorbed the West Coast to East Coast UPS two-day cost.

Another pitch for Dave at Recommended Service.

I can't see ordering aftermarket shocks with springs that might be right for me or might not be.

When I emailed Ikon, they put me in touch with Dave, in San Francisco. I told Dave what I was looking for and he said he had a shipment from Australia scheduled for the next day and he'd have them build me a set of shocks and include them in the shipment.

Would you pay half price for the shocks you don't really want or full price for the ones set up for you?
