I put Hagon classics shocks on the rear, 20 mm shorter than stock, and lowered the front 20 mm by cutting the spacer in the forks 13 mm (which I had done before when using intiminators), plus lowering the tubes through the trees 12 mm. Doesn't scrape and is so much more enjoyable in the way it handles, and putting my feet flat on the ground. For Hagon shocks I recommend Dave Quinn in Connecticut, as he was very helpful.

The Hagon shocks are great quality and improve the ride. Plus they keep with the classic look

Chrome Ikons with covers look more "stock" than stock.

Ask him why they're for sale.

That hasn't been our experience. Hers has been lowered 25mm for several thousand miles with no problem.

+1. I'm -25 mm up front, -30 mm in back. Not a bit of problems. Just in case, I moved the rectifier. But with the Intiminators that was probably unnecessary. I did the front with a lowering kit. I'm probably going to drop it another 5 mm in the tree just to even things back to stock and help a little more with response. And at my height the Bonnie does not feel like too big of a bike.
Btw dropped on her head?! Haha I'm 5'3" too and I'm a guy! I'm thinking maybe a clown scared my mom when she was pregnant with me...

I have a 09 T100.I had concern about the seat height and the dealer simply swapped the original seat for one on a mag wheel Bonnie. That took a good inch off the height. The seats are interchangeable. I find it comfortable enough to ride for a good while and not complain .I am 5'6" and 150lbs....also 72 years old so my butt may not be so sensitive anymore!

Thanks! I'll try that if the shocks alone are not enough.

If you do shorter shocks, you really NEED to lower the front end proportionally by raising the tubes up through the clamps. Otherwise, you'll have a bike which steers even more like http://www.public.navy.mil/airfor/cv...N%2077%29.aspx
