Forgive me if I'm re-posting a worn and tired subject, but a search didn't provide me with much info.

My T100 is undergoing some mods, the last of which will be rear sets. I've looked at LSL and Sato.

Thoughts?

been looking at rearsets myself- all a bit pricey for my budget at the moment though- i have to say if i was going to choose between n.h / lsl / or sato i'd go with the sato- to my eye the styling fits with the bike and they do them all blacked out- but thats with my blacked out bonnie.

Also look at the Norman Hyde rearsets too. Less than the LSL, not as aggressive in terms of position and very much in keeping with the looks of the bike.

I have a set on my t100 that I fitted after trying the LSL first. Definitely prefer the Hydes.

I swapped with a guy on a Thruxton: his rearsets for my Bonneville midsets. I love the rearsets and wouldn't go back, but they did in fact come at a price. Thrux rearsets will not work with the Bonneville (T100) exhaust. I ended up needing a complete Thruxton exhaust system. Of course aftermarket complete systems (D&D, Arrow and the like) will work as well.

Addendum to post: my mods currently include upswept Staintune exhaust, so don't think fit will be an issue. It's also a blacked out Bonnie, on its way to becoming more so ...

I have to admit, the NH rear sets fit in nicely with the original looks of the bike, keeping the authenticity in place.

Now...if this only came in black...

I have the LSL and wont go back to mid sets. If you lower your bars significantly you will not be comfortable with midsets. LSL are beautifully made and shift perfect. The downside is they are very modern. The Hydes look the part if you are keeping with traditional looks. I got my LSLs far cheaper than the Hydes.

i just installed the norman hyde rear sets to my bonneville a couple weeks ago. i really like them, probably the best thing ive bought for my bike. i highly recommend them if you can swollow the cost. they just look so correct on the bike.
