I use them. They are similar to thruxtons except longer so you have to shim them to get as rich as a thruxton needle. I don't know what your needles are like, but chances are the TBS are more tapered and will be richer. BUT, as you mentioned they are longer than many other needles so you may have to shim them a good bit. even tho they have a thinner taper than my stock 05 speedy needles they actually made my bike leaner because of the length. But once i shimmed them enough they improved performance over the stock needles with one shim, which was where the stockers worked best.
