Scrambler as only bike?

I'm selling my 06 Scrambler to my son. I will either be buying a 2010 black EFI or a 2013 matt gray with arrow already installed. I am considering trading in my '09 Tiger. How many of you ride the Scrambler as your only ride? I mainly ride back roads (dirt & paved) and a couple long trips each year. Not sure if I would miss the Tiger or if the Scrambler will fill the bill. I mainly ride the Tiger on the longer trips & cold weather. Any opinions?

Thanks!

I've edited back on how many motorcycles I own to just two, my garage queen 65 TR6 and my Scrambler. So you might say I ride my Scrambler exclusively except for a few bike nights and bike shows each year.
The closest I've owned to a Tiger is a 12GS Beemer.
I have no regrets selling other bikes. It would hurt me to the core to sell my Scrambler.
For me it's the absolute best all around bike to own.

Thanks rmak! I really like my '06 but I'm bringing my son into the riding fold and what better bike than the Scrambler. he was looking at Sportsters but he knows how much I love Triumphs (uniqueness, performance, reliability) so I have no choice but to get another!

I think a Tiger would be nice but I would never give up my Scrambler for one. This is the first time I can remember that I am down to one bike.

I'm basically a newb so take it for what it's worth but the Scrambler is my only bike. I could have gotten anything I wanted but chose the Scrammy and have no regrets.

I am down to one bike, 06 Scrambler, after selling my Guzzi last week and will probably stay with just the one bike. I did a 7 day 2000 mile trip this past June and the Scram worked out great. I cannot ever see selling it.

Do you have the matte green? If so, I met you at Buck's. I was the guy who said I was looking at that bike. If you're not that guy it doesn't matter. I love the '06 and I know lots of dirt roads & back roads. I live in Attica (Wyoming County). I'll be getting a replacement hopefully this week. My son won't take possession until May anyway.

I have also owned Tiger, but replaced it with a Ducati Multistrada because I wanted "more". I use my Multi in a similar fashion to what you've described for your Tiger. It's my "long distance touring bike". It's fast, handles like a dream, and eats up miles like crazy. It's like a Tiger on steroids.
Still, if I had to give up one for the other, I'd ditch the Multi for the Scrambler in a heartbeat.
On paper, the Tiger will win based on it's stats, but for me the Scrambler just feels right. Sometimes less is more.
