Just Had To Laugh
Today, I rode to my local BMW dealer (they sell Gerbing's heated gear). Anyway, while I was there, a guy was in the parking lot showing off his new Moto Guzzi V7 Racer to some other customers. (It was really sweet looking.)
He was bragging how on the highway, it's super stable. Not like Ducatis and Triumphs, which are "jittery", especially when riding next to a semi truck. What??? Rediculous. I just laughed. Told'em my Triumph one of the most stable bikes I've ever ridden...even next to semi's.

I almost bought the V7 non racer white. Nice looking bike but VERY happy with the Bonneville.
Ask him what the aftermarket world is like for em if ya see him again.

I dunno, the V7 racer just looks a bit too try-hard for me.
Bonnies are surprisingly stable on the highway.

I like the V7's, particularly the racer. While I don't require bucketloads of hp at this age, it would be nice if it had a bit more poke, something easily addressed with our Hinckleys. And I agree, our bikes are stable as all heck on the highway.
That, and I don't spend an inordinate amount of time along semi's anyway.

Why would you show up at the BMW dealer with your Guzzi?

This BMW dealer has the best selection of gear in the area, and great service. I buy most of my gear there. I show up on a Triumph.

Is it weird that I think BMW's are the ugliest bikes ever made, but I love Triumph's?
I don't see a resemblance, between the two, but I often see posts about BMW's on this forum.
