New Owner - 2013 Mag Wheel Bonnie

Couldn't be more impressed with this bike.

Already have a few mods to work on over the winter, TPUSA T exhaust, works shocks, signals, bars, seat and a bunch of little things. The speedy just wasn't gonna do it for me for a trip to Wyoming this summer and this seems to suit that desire perfectly. I didn't want to sell the speedy either. Love em both for what they are. Like two very different kids I guess.

Yeah my garage is dirty but that's another winter project. Good times ahead!

Congrats. I couldn't separate with my Street Triple. Both are so much fun.

They putting mag wheels on the Blacks now? Do they even have spoked standards anymore?

Also, what's the red switch on the top of the left handlebar? Did they move the engine kill switch?

It's very similar to the Triple. I believe it's a passing light trigger, high beams. The controls are very different than the T100.

So what's the red switch on the inside of the left bar? Turn signal? Is the kill switch still on the right? Also a little strange they put the Scrambler style front brake fluid reservoir on there.

Still a very pretty bike. Glad to see they're not messing with anything substantial. Every time I see those shiny front tubes before they get blue I get jealous.

welcome and good choice, didn't see a black tanked available so was glad i got a 2012, are the pipes straight back, not upswept, i like that, might want to look at the bitubo WME shocks, they are DeCarbon and really ride well IMO, thats what i got for mine at $450 a good buy for a quality rebuildable shock

That other red switch is the horn.

I can't stand the piss cups they have on this bike. It's not as nice as the T so I got a slim Rizoma black to replace it.

The bluing I'm not sure what to do. I agree it looks like poop when it starts to happen. I had to use some polish years ago when I had my first cruiser. I don't want to ceramic coat them either. Any tips?

From everything I've ever heard/read it's much better just to live with it. Yeah you can matte coat your pipes but that's not any better. There is anti-bluing stuff you can apply but you'll spend your entire weekend elbow greasing that and even then you probably still won't be happy. I just look at it as a sign of hard riding. Don't fight it. Or if you have the cash replace your outtake pipes every 6 months.
