The new ones use Brembo brake. Still a drum on the back.

I've had Bonnies and Jeeps for years (and years). They make a great combination and your daughter will love both. I agree about getting a TJ...something like that 2004 in Tucson would be perfect. They're good machines...

There are people that get the sidecar, especially Ural, thing and those that don't. I have a bonneville and ride it almost every day. It is a blast to ride. But there is just something about my Ural. It is slow, doesn't handle well, requires constant basic level maintenance, develops weird noises or problems that seem to disappear on their own, but I love everything about it. If it is something that you think you would ride (or drive I suppose is the proper term) then you probably will. If you can test ride one somewhere, go for it. I was on a road trip and knew a dealer was not too far out of the way so I arranged a test ride. I was sold. I spent the next two months tracking down the model I wanted and had it shipped. It was the best decision I made.

Below is my Ural T with my dog watching me install the hack windshield.

I totally agree with you. I was originally thinking about a sidecar for the Bonnie, but the more I think about it the Ural being a dedicated unit makes more sense.

The kids will LOVE it!
