pretty confident that mine is not a gel, here are a coupla pics of the underside. I had a single seat w/rack on my Bonnie a while ago and it was very comfy but I did not like the looks. is the scrambler gel seat as comfy?

I have a Solo seat with rack, also have a Scram gel seat and a stock Scram seat. The solo seat is more comfortable by far,the gel seat is better than the stock Scram seat. Easy way to tell if it is a gel seat (besides leaving it out in the sun) is that the gel seat cover is a lot grippier than the stock vinyl, more like moleskin.

From the look of those numbers, you've got a stock T100 seat.

Is your seat dead flat or does it rise slightly for the pillion?

I have the stock and gel seats. As mentioned above, the gel seat has a small "Triumph" tag (looks like a Levi's jeans tag) stitched under the top welt to the rear of the grab strap.
The top surface also has a slightly matte finish as opposed to the shiny vinyl of the original. As also mentioned above it gets hotter than blazes when left in direct sunlight. For that reason I rarely use it.

Thanks for the feedback, mine doesn't have the tag... Maybe I'll pick up a gel and use it til it's intolerable in the summer
