You can get a 19 tooth from Tec Bike part on ebay in Australia for $18 posted and very good quality .

19T is good for highway work but not if you are running up and down mountain curves. I missed the low down grunt out of corners so switched back to 18T

Tried a 19T on my '06 T100. It did reduce RPMs on the highway, but wasn't worth the trade off IMO. Had to feather the clutch a little longer to get going, and lost a lot of engine breaking when slowing. Came to the conclusion that stock was the best all around set-up, and went back to the stock sprocket in fairly short order. YMMV.

Nothing from the '72 will fit the '12. You even have to use '12 air in the tires.

I'd wager that I had more top end with my 17T vs my 18T. I can certainly get up to license loosing territory faster with the 17T.

Did a 2400km tour in 4 days running the 17T and Preds, was awesome.

Changing to 19T has been the best mod I've done so far... makes the bike run like I always imagined a Triumph would. The clutch slip issue is something I forgot about after the first stop sign. I was surprised at the loss of engine braking on my first trip in the mountains, but again, easily adapted to. Highway riding at speed is more comfortable. The twin makes lots of torque and the 19T change does not make the bike a slug.

It depends on your Bonneville. If you have an electronic speedo vs. one driven by a cable to the front wheel, you won't see any difference because the electronic speedo reads off the transmission and that comes before the countershaft sprocket.

I tried a 17 tooth, an 18 tooth, and a 19 tooth on my 2010 T100 and I run about 4200 rpm at an indicated 70mph (113kph) with all three. The difference is that when I checked my speed with a GPS, it shows about 65mph (105kph) with the 17 tooth, about 68mph (109kph) with the 18 tooth and 70mph (113kph) with the 19 tooth.

The 17 tooth was kind of fun, but I'll probably go back to the 18 tooth. Also, I think the rubber on the Triumph sprokets is a plus.
