That is an awesome price, I picked up my Legend, which is 6 years old for 3,400 so not too far off, it had less miles but less stuff done to it, I'd go for it

A little late to the thread, but I bought an '06 blue and white Scram with 6K on it about 3 months ago for $4500. It came with some extra parts and a Davida helmet that I Ebayed for $150. His original asking price was $5000, and I felt like I was getting a fair deal. So $4500 seems like a good starting point. If it was me, I'd show him 40 $100 bills and see what happens.

Probably won't work, there are at least a couple of guys looking at the bike tomorrow (seller emailed me), I'm not one of them. I'd go there real early, bring 45 $100's, check the bike over quick and grab it, if it looks good.

Hmmmm. Are you the seller by any chance? Just kidding. When I bought mine I threw out the $4500 cash offer and he called his wife out onto the porch, which was about 50 feet away. She came out the door and he asked her to turn sideways. She turns to reveal a VERY pregnant belly. He says "That's what 8.5 months pregnant with twin boys looks like. Yeah, I'll take $4500."

If the seller is going to screw with you tell him to call you if the other two don't buy it.

Sorry not the seller, but I talked to the guy. I think his price if very fair, nothing stopping anyone from making an offer & see what happens - you just never know...but bring $4500 just in case...

Hey, if you don't ask, you don't get, but I reckon that's fair. Over here ads tend to say whether the price is set or negotiable - which is nice.

good deal...I bought my blue/white for $3800 with 15k on it BUT...it had low pipes and standard tires. I kept the low pipes but put Kendas on it. I'm selling my bike to my son now.

What kind of low pipes did it come with? Were they off of a T100? I was just curious how low pipes would bolt up to that bike and how much change would be required to accommodate them on a scrambler. Also, have you ever taken that bike on any Long distance trips? Just was wondering about your thoughts on extended mile journeys? I plan on rigging up a pannier system and decent tank bag for some cross country trips. Thanks!
