I have a 2012 Bonnie Black with the cafe solo seat. I would like some ideas and suggestions on a tail bag for my bike. nothing to big, mainly just for commuting. I was looking at the US-20 from Kriega, but wanted to see what the rest of you were using. pictures are in-couraged.

I have the us-20 on a stock seat and it just fits. I don't know how well that would fit on the solo seat.
It's a great bag and works well. I recently upgraded to a single city bag and find that works best for my commuting. I'll use the Kriega bag for longer trips.

Not sure you can pop a tail bag very well on a solo seat - they are humped in about the last 1/3 of the seat aren't they? I use a Cortech one with a stock type seat - it can also be used on a rear rack, very good bag. They can be found here: http://www.revzilla.com/product/cort...ort-tail-bag-2

Was contemplating a rear rack, but not sure if it would look good with the cafe style seat. I also like the citybag, except for the price.

I got a single one off of here for a great price. Just keep your eyes open and be patient. New they are expensive.

I use the Cortech tail bag on my SE with solo seat. Works and looks best if you mount it backward, narrow end towards tail light, and on the seat hump. It sits almost flat this way.

The pic was taken before a friend suggested turning the tailbag around.

Thanks, I had looked at one of those. Seems like it doesn't look bad on the seat.
any other options.

There's someone on here with a cafe seat, with a harness for a Ventura bag. Look awfully close to what I'm thinking of. Anyone used Ventura? Good quality? Do they stay in place?

+1 for the kreiga. I have a few and have used them very successfully on long trips as well as around town. You can secure the strap loops to the frame and hide them easily when not in use. If you plan on being in and out of the bag a lot, the waterproof roll closure design can get old quick though. But once you get used to it it's pretty easy. They are very well made, durable and strong. It will fit on a solo seat, just a question of tightening the straps. It does not hold any kind of shape when empty. With the white waterproof liner in, it kind of acts like a cooler in summer. Great for beer and meat when camping.

Thanks. I figured it the US20 would fit, and I do like the idea of it not having a shape and conforming to the seat. I was hoping someone had a picture, mainly to see if it contacted to riders back(to the point of annoying discomfort). I also liked the idea of the straps securing to the frame, but still being able to be hidden.
