Honestly the neighbors honda 600 cruiser is louder at idle then the D&D's, and every harley on the planet is louder. But i guess its all relative.

yeah, but when i get up at 5am, to go for a quick 40 mile coastal cruise before work and i fire it up on fast idle. i dont think its very stealth.

I'm always amused by what most members here think is loud. This is what I want on my bike, and will probably end up getting. I don't really care what my neighbors think just like my neighbor doesn't care about his huge bonfires that could potentially set my woods on fire. My other bikes had pipes that make these sound like stock pipes......now those were loud.........and probably teetering on obnoxious.........yeah definitely obnoxious.
Still I love the sound of nicely tuned pipes even if they are louder than what my neighbors would approve of.

I def agree w/ ya, jeiser. I put a set of these in faux-ti on the Bonne, and I tell ya...these pipes ROCK! Even on a stock 865 engine with stock sprockets, these pipes Rock! And the sound is fantastic, in my opinion. For this is how the Bonne was meant to sound...deep, throaty, and well tuned!

At 4K, they will piss off some of the neighbors, I suppose, but that's a topic for them and their therapist.

i got the D&D 2/2's too and yeah they're loud but in a good way if you ask me, it's a motorcycle not a moped!
