I installed a Burton DS003 a while back, was a huge help and the extra legroom was welcome. When I moved back to Michigan, the suspension was the first order of business...no way the stock pieces could cope with the Detroit area's mean streets. Or maybe I couldn't cope, not sure.

All I know is that it's a joy now. Composed and compliant, and I no longer worry about getting bucked over the bars.

I fitted a pair of Hagon Classics to my 06 T100. They have a similar spring rate but the damper units are much better so the ride is much improved especially over poor surfaces.

king + queen seat prolly most comfortable, burton seat is an improvement and looks fantastic, quality shocks are necessary, when i bounced on my bike with stock shocks there was no noticable spring flex with the bitubo's you can see movement, these are progresssive springs a MUCH better ride for sure!!!springs control the weight and dampers control the springs, the adj rebound allows better control with no pogoing, you get what you pay for, although any shock not spring for your weight will ride poorly

The first and most effective mods to my 09 Bonneville SE were IKON rear shocks, Progressive fork springs, and a Corbin seat. I have it dialed in just where I like it.
