nice site. I've loved brit bikes since I was a kid, I've had too many triumphs, nortons, bsas, etc. to count but I think the new bonneville is the best yet. only problem is my wife, she's taken the black bonnie as hers. I think I need a scrambler!

LJ- Just noticed you were from Iowa. You'll have to be doubly dubious of my 10,000 Lake ripostes.

Welcome from another relative newcomer to the site. I'll second the notion that it would be cool if you have some pictures you could post of your vintage machines. Still got any of them?

thanks for the warm welcome. I'll set up a photo album soon.
the norton and the matchless single are very nice, they get alot of use in good weather. the matchless twin I've had for about 20 years, its in pieces now, a SLOW restoration, it was my only transportation when I lived in the bay area. I put about 40 thousand miles on it, a great bike.
unusually nice weather here, I actually rode the bonneville last week about 15 miles around town. i just put a 19 tooth sprocket on it, changed up from an 18, 17 was stock. the 19 tooth is the way to go, the bike finally has some legs. I highly recommend it.
