no A9828007 tach kits in stock

I finally have the money to buy a tach kit for my Bonnie but no one has the newer tach kit in stock. I've searched and sent emails to dealers and vendors all over the world but no dice. Anybody know where i can find the A9828007 tacho conversion kit?

gold, have you contacted TPUSA or British Customs? might give them a shot.
Any Triumph dealer should be able to order it unless there is an
availability issue, and there very well could be.
Also, seems like I've read the tacho conversion kits on the VDO
bikes are VIN specific, not sure about it but check it out when
you order, whoever you end up ordering from.

Thanks for the reply D9, I've checked with all the vendors you listed and dealers. They all say the same thing, out of stock and on back order with no eta. The A9828007 kit is for the newer bikes with LCD VDO gauges, I've found plenty of the older kits for sale. I'll keep looking, maybe there's a dealer in the UK somewhere with one.

This it?

Just out of curiosity, are you sure that there's any difference between the 2 part numbers?

Yeah I'm deffinately sure the part numbers are different. There's a couple threads on here where guys with new bikes bought the older kit and it wouldn't work. The A9828007 kit fits Bonneville's from vin number 426935 and higher. Most places don't even have the new kit listed on their website. I'm waiting on an email from a dealer in the UK, they may have one.

That p/n is for the old kit that Gold2012 says won't work. Gold, that link I put in is for the right part and Lings definitely ship worldwide (postage might sting a bit though)

Product number I listed is for a 2013 bonneville. Could be vin specific to my bike.

Thanks bobbo but i've ordered one from Jack Lilley Triumph in the UK, but if anybody else is looking for one MADSS will order one for you at a good price if your willing to wait. Joei i'm positive that A9828007 is the part number for new bikes vin 426935 and higher and A9938042 is for vins lower. Dean at Hermy's Triumph comfimed that part number for me, and there's a couple threads on here dealing with the same issue of trying to put the old tach kit on a new bike and it not working. The wiring harness is different and the idiot lights are in the gauge face not on the panel.
