So I did what I thought I'd never do. I think the perfect all around bike for me is not the Thruxton, rider position, or the Guzzi V7 Stone, power and lack of aftermarket parts, or the base Bonneville, too short, controls are different, no tach.

The bike is gonna be the Jet Black, 2013 Bonneville T100. I can get one now I am just trying to figure out what a fair price to pay is. I almost always buy a previous year and in the off season but not this time it seems.

What do you guys think? It's 8,599 MSRP. With tax title blah blah what can I get it out the door with reasonably? It's rainy season now too.

anything UNDER $9,500.00 out the door is pretty good.

Under $9,000.00 OTD is a steal.

Especially if you can talk them into throwing in any aftermarket stuff you might want on either of those deals. (For example, if you wanted a different seat etc.)

Oh, and try and get them to agree to giving your first 500 mile service for free. It is literally just an oil change and thorough checklist inspection of the bike. If they think it will seal the deal they should put it in writing for you. If not most dealers charge between $200 and $300 for it and those first 500 miles will fly by. I told me dealer there was no way I was buying a $9,000 bike just to be back in his store a week later laying down another $250.

Go for it! I got the exact same bike (but a 2012) back in April, here in FL, for about $9050 out the door, and I thought it was a pretty good deal. Well worth it, even if a few hundred more or less.

My local dealer (Douglas Triumph) has got the best prices I've seen anywhere. They've got one right now for $7999 (that would put you just over actual MSRP out the door!), and they're extremely easy to work with. Sounds to me like it might be worth a nice break-in ride home... (if you do talk to them, ask for Art).

MSRP on this bike is 8,599 though. Not sure we're talking about the same bike. I will fly to LA for the right price. It's only 100 flight.
