My favourite tyres for my 04 Thrux are (in order of preference): Speed Demons, GT501 and BT45's. Now its wet and cold (winter NorCal) I'll stick with Speed Demons.

I like the Anakees. I'm on my second set. They stick well enough to drag pegs on occasion, and are great in the rain. I got about 8k on the rear, and 11k on the front.

The thing is Bob, it's not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care.

Hi - +1 on the Pilot Activ. Works great on my T100, and unlike the expensive Metzelers, were actually the cheapest replacements when I bought mine. I especially like how they ignore road grooves, etc. I will likely buy again, but at 4k miles, they are showing almost no wear so should be a while.

Ride safe, Joe

BT 45's

Bridgestone Battlax BT-45's TT are what I have now. I had over 10,000 miles on the stock Metzelers but both were worn out. I now have about 1000 miles on the BT-45's and are very happy with them.

Mayday Good to here, I plan to get the Anakee2 for my 2005 Black Bonnie. I love secondary roads over highways and some times end up on seal coating or stretches of graded gravel. I don't intend to be a scrambler but I don't turn back from the odd challenge and I am not a fair weather rider.
