Can anyone identify this sidecar? I'm trying to find a two-seater for my Thruxton so I can drive my kids to school.

That's super cool looking. How do ride/turn with the side car? Do you just turn the wheel and that is that?

Sort of. Yes, you turn the bars the direction you want to go like a car, BUT left turns are a different deal then rights. Assuming you have the sidecar mounted to your right in most countries (on the left in England and other "drive left" areas so the driver can see to pass and such) right hand turns will make the sidecar lift off the ground unless you have enough weight in it, and on lefts you can go relatively quicker. It can all get pretty squirrely pretty quickly either way though until you have a fair amount of time learning the rig. So no, "that is not that."

A sidecar outfit like that is quite an expensive proposition - as much as a small car. If you go this route, I would not recommend wire wheels, but a shift to cast ones. While your conspicuity factor increases with a sidecar outfit, you run a high risk for your children in one. You'll need to practice a fair amount so that you can navigate corners and curves safely and learn how to brake properly. Also, operating an outfit requires higher effort than a solo bike and removes the fun of leaning a bike into a curve/corners. Good luck with all of this.
