I just noticed this....

The cam cover on the 06 Bonnie Black is not black!

The black cam cover was SWEET!!!! I can not stand the stock cover. Black or Chrome for me.

Too bad Triumph got rid of it.....or they screwed up their pic on their website.

I guess you can always have it painted...but the original black cam cover was sooooooooo trick.

06 Bonnie from the Triumph Site

Not me.....the black was acceptable at best on my speedy. But i cannot rave enough about chorme. Once i saw it on all i could think was why the %$#@ triumph would use anything else. But then it just goes to show how much tastes vary.

HERESY! I also like em either chrome or black(black for me).Oh well ,end of an era I guess. The all black was a deciding factor in my purchase ;I could have had a blackw/alum engine, but prefered the b/b.I love how just the fin edges are shiny, that's a major good look.

Dude! You scared me with this post. I've got an '06 black on order, and I don't think I could live without the black cam cover, I'd have to go for the T100.

Of course I then realized that I've got an '06 brochure, so I checked and the cam covers are still black.

Careful with your posts, man. You don't want to start scarin' us soon to be Bonnie owners.

Hyak, didn't mean to scare you......but that pic came from the Triumph website...

This is interesting....
The pic here on the link to the Triumph modern classics has a black cover, but when you click on the link for the Bonnie, the cover is now grey. The PDF brochure shows a the Bonnie black cover as black.

hmmmmmm.....

My take on this, on what i read.. was the standard 2006 models ,which are 3 colours green/silver/ Black.....with the black there is an option of painted motor and black casings, maybe thats a pic of standard , with the black colour option. like the t100 you want the chrome cam cover have to purchase it. :???:

Hey, if like many here seem to feel you like black OR chrome, then if you get the one in the pic above strip it and sand/polish it ! Polished aluminum looks just like chrome.
