Thruxton Oil Cooler Guard

Hi there,

Is anybody aware of a manufacturer of a oil cooler guard for my Thruxton in the UK please

Triumph don't seem to make one.

It sould be handy, cos with the short front mudguard I seem to be getting a lot of crud stuck in the little gaps in the radiator. I have to keep washing it out with a soft brush and a hose.

I reckon a few stones over time will start to bend and damage the cooling elements, they're only ally.

I could probably make one myself, but one off the shelf would be easier.

Cheers.

Kev

R&G make a cooler guard for the Thruxton. They only recently released it.

I made one similar to the one shown by Forchetto.....Material from B&Q 1/8" U section ally and expanded ally mesh just fits between the downtubes also fitted a stainless plate below...Stops the crud being thrown all over the engine
I did put a thread on some time ago with pics.....If you are desperateget in touch
T.U.D...(the original Triumph Truxtons had long front gaurds....
