Now THAT's Retro!!
If Honda wants "true" retro... they should bring this ('99 concept) bike to market.
Displayed at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1999, the CB Four concept model celebrated the
30th anniversary of the inline-4 CB bikes. With its uniquely emotional exterior styling and form-follows-function aesthetic, this was a naked motorcycle for the serious rider.
Unfortunately I can't find any specs on it, just ran across it here: Honda Worldwide

Oh yes, that seat is just soooo much nicer than the one they did bring to market.

You said it, TB-100... my thoughts exactly. The seat, tank, side covers, and forks (w/ gaiters) all look very much like the "real deal". I especially like that four into four exhaust. It looks even better than the original IMO. If Honda were to produce and bring that particular model to the US I'd want to be the first in line.

D R U M B R A K E S?
Have you ever tried to stop a bike of this mass, at speed, with drum brakes?
Weren't much fun back in the day, and certainly not now either.
Might be good for a ride around the block, or posing, but not 'real' riding.

I see a drum on the back but twin discs on the front.
That will stop you better than the original single disc on the CB750

ENGINE SPECS:

Engine Bore and Stroke: 67 mm x 53 mm
Valves: 4 valves per cylinder
Claimed HP: 75 hp (55.9 kW) @ 8500 rpm
Max Torque: 64 Nm (47.2 ft. lbs) @ 7500 rpm
Transmission: 5 speed
Final Drive: Chain

Looks like a disc to me as well, albeit a small one.
