Not sure I would jump to that conclusion. Is it completely stock? Air filter or intake mods, after market exhaust? SAI disabled?

Thanks. I have the airbox removed with KN filters and BC predators. I have also removed the AI and charcoal canister stuff. Jets at 42 and 140. I live At sea level - so I currently have air mixture at 2 and a half turns.

The bike feels pretty good, I have doing these changes one by one so it seems to steadily improve ...

On the surface of it, your jetting sounds about right. You could be a bit rich on the idle. I'd suggest you get it dyno'd to check your mixtures.

i don't know if ignition timing is adjustable or not, but it could be a factor.

otherwise, at what point to the flames happen? is it only on decell?

I get flames when I back off on my EFI bike. I had my tune checked by my dealer and they said everything was alright. I quite like it though, it looks cool at night!
