I owned a new '66 T120R and am hot for a new Bonnie. I want to make it look like my '66. I think they had stainless and not aluminum fenders in those days. Anyone know for sure and have done this? Pics would be great. Thanks from a new guy.

yep my t100 has a chrome front fender and looks a lot better than the painted one (which i have incase i sell bike will put back on and sell chrome one)

i had a 70 T-120R swapped my painted striped fenders for 68 stainless steel ones, a better match for my stripped and painted black tank. i remember drilling the end of a crack to stop it, great light bike that rattled your teeth as well as the whole bike, my 2012 bonnie is sooo smoooth!!

'68 was the last year for brushed SS fenders on T120R's in the US; after that they were painted - and open coil, not shrouded rear shocks in '69 and later.

Painted Mudguards on that one. TBH looks very much like the standard ones on a Hinckley Bonnie. Just add the stripe in the same colour as the top half of the tank and gold lining.

Man, the British version was much different. Larger tank w/rack, and painted fenders. Here's how I remember mine.
