Not feeling it. Maybe it's nicer in person.

That Ace of spades cutout in the side-cover is kinda tacky as well.

I presume there's a 1087 lurking in those engine cases....

I couldn't see a full description of the mods but it looks like there was $10,400 in engine work, custom body work and labor were the other big adds. The rest of it was just OTC paraphenalia. Still, a nice looking bike.

Not for me either, but looking at it another way, if I had $40,000 to play with I'd rather have this bike than a "custom" Big Dog or OCC chopper with the same price tag.

I guess it cost someone $40k but I think they may have over capitalised! I doubt if it would have a market value of anywhere near what has been spent on it.

I assume though it was done for love not money which is fair enough. It was obviously wanted by someone.

Personally I would find it hard to love. $40k would do a lot of things for me that that bike doesn't.

$40,000 will buy a Bimota Tesi and I'd rather have that.

If I was spending 40K on a bonnie - I would buy 2 bikes.

A modern bonnie with ALL the engine and performance mods, and a daily rider, but well restored classic bonnie - and have money left over for a decent trip.

At least put on clip-ons if you going to go to the trouble of putting the dents in the tank???
$4,000 for the seat and tank,....and they left the seam on the tank.
