Ah, I see. No significance, other that it was near the top when I googled "digital watch circuit board". Didn't even notice the red box until just now. As it turns out, it is the "Quartz Oscillator", which has absolutely nothing to do with anything

Sorry about that but im just a old redneck mechanic I spent more time working on motors then doing english classes.My spelling has all ways sucked.But then we all have our strong and weak points lol.
