Nearly all city riding for me, usually get 90-100 miles before gassing up.

I'm guessing I could get better mpg if I tried, but that's no fun. And it's more fun (and efficient) than my car, so might as well crack the throttle.

This is what I figured out: if you turn the cap all the way (counter clockwise) until it stops, you won't be able to remove the cap. Once you get to that point, turn it back the other way (clockwise) just a bit. You can then push down on the cap and turn counter clockwise again and remove it.

And, to add to the subject, I figured out (today, by accident) a sure fire way to calculate how many miles you get out of a full tank. I call it RTYRO ( Ride 'till You Run Out). I thought I had at least 30 miles until I needed to fill up (according to previous calculation) so I ran some errands and figured I'd stop off to fuel on my way home. I was literally about 1/2 mile away and I shut down. I had to pull over and push her into a Walgreens parking lot, called AAA ( cuz I wasn't pushing her to the gas station, and letting EVERYBODY know what a dumbass I am) and waited 20 min for them to arrive. Wasn't too bad of an experience, but still sucked nonetheless.
It case you're wondering, it was157 miles.

You probably could have made it there using the TTL method! There is usually always a little extra fuel in the right lobe of the tank that doesn't make it to the left lobe if the bike is horizontal.

You just Tip the bike To the Left side as far as you can without dropping it and jiggle it some. This causes the gas to make it over to the left lobe of the tank giving you a little extra fuel.
