Perfect combo!

I'm coming from a Street Triple. My insurance went drastically down when I bought the Bonnie.

Ohhh boy ... that Street Triple exhaust sound is music to my hears, lol .... :-)

Please enjoy your new bike and drive safe!

I went with dual slip on arrows because I like the high mount look better. Got a great deal on them as well and couldn't pass it up. I can't wait to get some noise out of the triple. I'm so used to having an exhaust on the bonnie and IMO, it really adds character and richen's the motoring experience. I ride with ear plugs, so the speedie is like a mute right now!

And I didn't mention how much fun it is to modify the bonnie. I feel like there are so much more aftermarket parts for it and so many different directions you can take with the bonnie to make it your own.

A difficult question for you now ...

If you really need to pick one, which one you would keep and why! Be honest, share your thoughts with us, please ...

Have fun deciding which bike to ride to work! It's a fun game I play every morning....the STripple is a mad bike like my CB1000R....it's like having a new bike every week.

I rode my friend's 955 Striple years ago. Wow! My license or my life would not last a week with that. It is the only bike I have ever done a third gear wheelie on! I have no self control but I did love that ride. Hope you will too.

Funny thing......I love the Street 3 but the Bonnie gets pulled out 9 out of 10 times. it's more fun to ride. The S3 is like driving an F1 car but there's the rub-everything turns into a race!

I feel that my striple is getting jealous of my bonny.

I honestly feel right now that the bonnie is a bike I will keep forever. Hopefully keep it in good enough condition to pass down to my kids to ride or just for myself. It was my first motorcycle and I'll always be attached to it in more ways than one. I've gotten in 3000 wonderful miles so far and I hope to keep racking them up.

I've done all the service and modifications myself (AI removal, fork gaitors, bar end mirrors, turn signals throughout, heated grips, TEC exhaust, Hagon rear shocks, FEK, tank pads, etc) so I've bonded even more with the bike. I've also got into a mild accident and it's managed to keep me alive and unharmed. I hit a brake drum at 70mph from scattered debris on the freeway that I coudln't avoid. I probably got over 1' airborne and cracked both wheels and blew both tires. Miraculously I was able to fight off the wobble, accelerated to get her straight again, and pull over to the shoulder.

I haven't had enough riding time with the speedie yet, but I'm sure next season with more seat/modding time I will be more connected to it too. I definitely feel like I will be riding the speed more than the bonnie, but we'll see next season.
