Reason for your particular Hinckley Twin

Scrambler for me because everyone knows down deep they are the best and most versatile in the Twin line up. (That may draw a comment or two.) Being tall the added seat height is a true asset and I have always had a thing for bikes with high pipes. IMHO the old 305 Honda Scrambler had some of the best lines of any bike ever produced and the Triumph version has that same stance. Just a good looking, 270 degree twin that you don't see on every corner.........

Bonnie SE because I'm not a fan of broken spokes and love the sport bike "like" handling.

Truth. And because I'm not afraid of spokes.

These aren't spokes:

I was leading a ride on my spoked Black when the 09 SE behind me took a slightly different line through a large pothole ...

Makes me cringe looking at the pictures.

Ditto

2001

(1) Because in 2001 there was no other choices
(2) Because they came with lots of chrome
(3) Because everyone knows "prefire" bikes are superior to post fire bikes
(4) Because it really is "made" in Great Britian

All nonsense aside...it was the right bike at the right time at the right price...best decision I ever made
