I put a 140/80 on mine and can't tell any difference in the curves and the aesthetics appeal to me. I looked at a Harley 48 on the show room and noticed that they come with a 150/70. My next tire will be a 140/70 because the back tire I have now looks a little too tall.

It might just be an american thing but i like the look of a fatter rear tire on just about everything. I would love a 180 but i know the BS that would be involved in fitting it, so I went with a 140/70 pirelli for now. The stock 130 doesn't look horrible but im a stout beef eating american(fat) and having a fatter rear tire helps with the whole monkey mating a football concept.

Dunlop 150/70VB17 --- V rated blackwall race tire
TKC 80 150/70B17 --- Looks to be an offroad tire 40/60 road/offroad

Not sure why they append B/R/VB. It's confusing. Those are typically reserved for speed ratings.
