2013 Bonnie SE ?
I have been searching the Triumph sites UK, US, and Canada and there is no longer a SE model listed. Is Triumph dropping this model for 2013?

Probably the website just hasn't been updated. Triumph did announce the new color for the 2013 SE: purple. Well, "eye-catching Imperial Purple" to be precise. It looks cool. http://www.triumphmotorcycles.co.uk/...s/my13-colours
Also the cooling fins on the head are announced to look a bit different, the bottom fins will be polished fins as well like the top set. But haven't seen any pictures of them in the wild yet, just photo-shoots.

You're right, the designations are changing for Bonneville derivatives
As follows
Bonneville
T100
Thruxton
Scrambler
America
That's it, SE has gone

The SE is "dropped" for 2013. In the UK at least.

Wierd,I'm confused. Were did you hear that? Triumph has gone far enough to put pictures of them out there:
They're not shown on the website, and I don't think they're out yet. I haven't found one on a dealer site.
My guess is that they're not in production yet, and maybe the new heads aren't rolling out yet. Maybe the website isn't being updated until they're more real.
But have you seen a Triumph release stating there will be no SE, or are you assuming it's not going to roll out because it's not on the website?

I've learned to take the info put on Triumph's website with a grain of salt.

I have ordered a "Purple & White" 2013 and prior to placing the order spoke at length with dealer and Triumph. They have rationalized the range for 2013. the mag wheeled Bonneville in either Black, Gold or Purple & White and that's your lot.

That is actually a picture of a standard. The SE is no longer available, the two tone paint is now an option on the standard. The brushed engine covers and tach have been dropped though. I'm not sure what is going on with the redesign of the engine fins. I haven't seen it appear on any of the 2013 models I've seen.

Yeah, no doubt.
I was just looking at the UK website. They show three non-T100 Bonnevilles: that purple one, a black one and a gold one. All look to have badges, which would be SE things. And all have black engines, a non-SE thing. All are pictured with the new head. So, that looks like the common line you guys are talking about.
More black engines and more badges, those are good things ;-)
Triumph marketing info has always seemed a bit vague.
