Moving in from the "trophy" site...
Hello, all: Traded my '02 Trophy 1200 in this week for a 2012 T100.................so here I am. Looking forward to the discussions and some fun. Now, a question: has anyone fitted a National Plexifairing 3 to a Bonneville with the fork gaiters on it? I know that the GT Plexi is what National says to use and that there are "clearance" problems with the "3". If it's only because of the gaiters, I can definitely work out that problem. Thanks in advance for any replies.
Just call me the "village idiot": Jim

Give National a call directly (M-F, normal working hours in Chicago). I've found that they've been pretty good answering questions about their products and fitments.

Hi, Trophy 4: did call them and was told about "clearance problems"..........next time I'll ask for the engineering dept. or whatever, I guess.
Thanks for the reply: Jim

Glad to have you on board? What are your plans for the bike, besides riding of course. Warning, If you get the mod sickness it really gets addicting.

Welcome to this part of the site, Jim.
Your status as "Village Idiot" may be disputed at some point, though.

Hello, again: Plans for the bike are to add some decent bags, wind protection, engine bars and whatever "tasty" bits" that may "tickle my fancy". I know that I'll miss the fairing protection of the Trophy; it was very nice to just tuck in behind it when the rains came, not having to don anything special unless I was caught in slow traffic. At least, I've got some good cold weather gear to ward off the worst of the New England late Fall temps. I'll keep in touch (good idea on that, RMAK) with my feelings and thoughts on the T100. Now, if this miserable weather that's coming our way will just disappear..................

Yeah, there are a number of us here vying for the position and it looks like you're pretty low on the seniority list.
