It's good training for when you have to hold the bike up with one hand and change a tire with the other. Da*n Triumph Corp.!! Having a centerstand is a basic human right!

Hi, all: I had a centerstand installed when I bought it as I don't like leaving a bike on the sidestand for long periods. It's a "bear" to get off the stand, though.......not hard to get it onto it, but when it come to taking it down...............HOO BOY! My big Trophy was easier to pull down than the Bonnie. Oh, well, time to start with the "Wheaties" for breakfast, I guess.

Are you straddling the bike when rolling it off, or standing beside it? If standing beside it, I make sure the side stand is down, then put my foot just in front of the center stand as I rock my Bonne of the center stand. I've also found that it's loosening up w/use (which means I need to keep checking the bolts to make sure they're not working loose).

If I'm on the bike, I simply put my left foot in from of the tab on the center stand as I rock it forward.

Works for me! YMMV
