All opinions are welcomed, that's why I asked. May be someone points out something that I wasn't aware of or didn't think about.
Thank you for yours.

It is a standard 7" Automotive bulb, which will fit fine in your Bonnie light bucket. The only thing that might be a PIA is the outer edge of the bulb may be a little thicker than the OEM bulb. This makes putting the retainer ring on a bit of a pain, but with some patients it will work fine.
As for my $.02 worth, if you like it, then it looks fine. It's your bike, make it anyway you want. There is no rule book or social standards on how your bike should look.

Would the angel ring only be visible when the headlight is off? Here in Washington, the law is that the headlight has to be on anytime you're running the bike the street. So whether or not it’s cool, I'd have to first question legality. If it’s legal, personally I still don’t think I’d use one. The flat headlights kinda irritate me. I’d get a glass unit that’s rounded rather than flat. To me, it looks more classic.

Here's what I am thinking about doing:
Connect the Halo to the Low Beam lights, that way it is on all the time and it takes very little power from the battery when I start the bike.
I have a whole spare HID kit but it is not the dual Hi/Lo, only the low 4300K from my Volvo's H7 bulb. I wanted to connect the H7 HID bulb to the high beam and ground connectors which means the light won't turn on until I flip the switch to the high beam. I would think that this would be better for starting and for the life of the ballast anyway. That way, I would have the Halos as DRLs and I would only turn on the HID lights by flipping the switch to High Beam as it gets darker.
Would this work?
