Bitchin' exhaust! Super nice looking. I'd love to hear a sound clip of those!

Love how you hid the mini cones by tucking them in and painting them black.
At first glance it looks like your running open pipes. Very sly indeed.

there are two silencers under the engine (the slightly fatter section) and the two cones are silenced also so its quieter than you might imagine. i don't think they are as loud as preds (maybe even doms) although i've not had chance to put it side by side with a pred equipped bike yet but i have the option of adding db killers if i need to.

hi checkers yeh don't play poker with me!
i do have the option of running open pipes if i want, the rear cones and swan neck section are slip jointed and spring retained (as are all the joints).

At first glance it looked like you had straight pipes. I have had loud exhaust systems before and find them be annoying and fatigue inducing. Enjoy

Mike...

I'd like to see that pic, but there's no link on the post. I was looking at the tt from D&D, but was weary of the sound. I ended up with their dual full exhaust with the short megs in titanium. Still waiting for the pipes to arrive...should be early next week.

hmmm! were you expecting a pic of the d&d tt exhaust, this is my own custom fabricated tt style exhaust its in the pic in your post.
it has what i consider many improvements on the d&d, namely:-
proper tapered headers not just a stepped pipe
balance pipe between the under belly silencers with a lambda sensor take-off
spring retained slip joints to make it easier to take of to do oil+filter change (and spring retained joints look much cooler!)
tucked in tighter under the engine for better ground clearance
better noise suppresion from the under belly silencers and the mini cones
heres more pics from a different angle

Those sharp binds are not good going to the cones.Headers look kinda small they need to be 1 3/4.The d&d tt race pipes are to low to the ground but they make hp.Nice work but i think you need to rethink a few things.
