DUCKMAN.... I grew up around Triumphs, bought my Bonnie when I was 20 and have had it for 35 years. Now I drive a D12, and love it. It's just like a big locomotive, with about just as much power. My wife has a Str3, and it handles like a motocross with just as much torque. I've had couple of other bikes over the years but nothing compares to Triumph. I was thinking about having my Bonnie buried with me when I die just incase there aren't any Triumphs where I end up, but I don't think my son will let me take it with me

Conundrum
I hope I didn't post this twice!
OK. Here is my conumdrum. I usually name my vehicles; my blue 4Runner is know as Ole Blue, the blue Harley FXDXi I traded in was refered to as Blue Too. Now I want to come up with a name for my 2012 orange and black Bonneville SE. I am open to suggestions but anything to do with halloween or Harley war colors is out! The winning suggestion will get absolutely nothing and all runners up will be rewarded like wise. It has to be good, because being 69 years old this will likely be my last bike.

Nice piece about your p&j ! I love my Tiger.
Got a lot of 'pleats' out of my fork gaitors by liberal application of silicon grease (to soften the plastic) and careful work with blunt pliers and a loop of wire - transformed back into proper shape !
Cheers Rodger

It's over
The search for a name for my new Bonneville has concluded. Thank you to those who made suggestions.
When I served a hitch in the US Navy I was a green shirt aboard the USS Constellation (CVA 64), it was a memorable part of my life. The USS Constellation was referred to by her crew members as the Connie.
I have named my new Bonneville in her honor. . . Connie. So for ever more the bike will be know as Connie.
The Bonnie Connie, Connie the Bonnie, Connie Bonnie, Bonnie Connie or just Connie; what ever it rolls of the tongue well and the name sticks![/FONT]
