Excellent preservation job. My 2007 is nowhere near as clean, not at all with only 15,000 more than yours. I have regretted selling too many good bikes to part with this one. Even if it had any value.

When the bike was in NY it rarely got caught in the rain and was always garaged. I have been in The Florida "sunshine", liquid and radiant for the last year. The enviroment is rough on all the surfaces...the bike as "aged" more in the last year here then 10 years in NY. Bathing the bike in TW really helps.

I really like the TW-ICE product, I feel it works well and is very easy to use.

Virgin Triumph rider.
Nice write up Duckman. I have been riding for 51 years, but I am a virgin Truimph owner. I traded in my Hardlly Ableson FXDXi to get a 2012 Bonnie SE. To be honest, both are fine motorbikes but I favor the Harley for performance and comfort. As I got more years and miles racked on my old out of shape body the Harley got harderd to handle. The Bonnie is much lighter and easier to ride and I expect to get used to it in time. At 70 years young and riding the So Ca freeways I don't know how much longer I will want to ride anyway. LOL Until then I'm gonna keep my knees in the breeze. Any other geezers out there? Peace!
BSA Super Rocket, Norton Atlas, Suzuki 250 enduro, Suzuki Titan, Penton, Ossa, Honda CB750's and Gold Wings, Yamaha RD350 and XT 350, 2 HD Sportsters, an FXRS and 2 Dynas. Now the last and final bike a 2012 orange and black Triumph Bonneville SE.

The Bonneville is just simply a "magical" bike to own and ride. I'd buy a Bonneville then sell it.....buy something else.......miss the Bonneville too much and buy a new one. I've done this 3 times!!!! I keep coming back. My 2012 is my fourth and last. Goldie will be my sweetheart for good now. Every ride is a thrill.....She's my "Mistress". It took me awhile to finally get it figured out (about 10 years!), but, now I'm here to stay. Love my Bonne !!! The Meister

Thanks much for the great post!
I recently returned to riding after 30 years with a used '08 T100 with 26K miles; it now has 28K.
Initially, I was worried if that was "too many" miles for a motorcycle; since finding this forum, I know it's just getting broken in!
Here's a dealer picture from the day I bought her:

Separated at birth? This girl is an '02 Bonne, I'm a '59 lad, and I have similar feelings for her as you do for Elizabeth.
Really enjoyed your post.

58 now soon to be 59 and have had a bike since I was 21. I love my '12 Bonnie std. I get more complements and stares from passerby then I have ever gotten on any of the Harley's that I have had. There are so many Harley's out there that they aren't that special anymore.
